Are you sick of your 1980’s wardrobe? At your next race hunt around for discarded clothes as you run. Very quickly you can put together a decent 1990’s wardobe for very little effort. Look for flouro parachute tracksuits, faded grey track pants and dead hypercolour t-shirts. You’ll have a very hot run, but the updated fashion may well be worth it.

What if the only running you do is around the block, encouraging your 7yearold in her practice for cross country? Surely a 90’s wardrobe would make her reject your kind intentions even more? Sorry, this probably isn’t the place for such agonies from an obiously less than serious runner.
Great blog, though, I am learning alot…

Sometimes your kids have to suffer for your art! Try this one on for size, Kate.
Old saggy grey track pants tucked into long football socks, Dunlop KT26 runners, and an oversized “I’ve been to Bali” t-shirt.
Try telling me that your 7 year old wouldn’t be impressed with that!
I’ve noticed that she has already got YOU out running to practice for HER cross country. Maybe intuitively she knows that she gets the best value from a mum who is fit and healthy.
Happy training!
